Which investment account is better?

Since the 1980s, the 401k and IRA have been the most popular types of investment accounts.

Then in 1997, the Roth IRA, an account that allows for tax-free growth and income in retirement, became popular.

While the Roth is still a great option, there’s another type of account that beats the pants off the Roth when it comes to performance.

That’s mainly because the Roth account has money in the market, making it susceptible to loss when the market falls.

The IUL has all the tax benefits of a Roth and more.

And because the IUL doesn’t have money in the market, it’s not susceptible to losses. Yet, because it’s an index product, it participates in the gains of the market.

Watch this video to see how the Roth compares to the IUL regarding benefits and performance.
